Our summer program is for all creative young people (ages 9-18) interested in music, music improvisation, and music composition.

Tuition, room and board is $8,300.

Need-based financial aid is available.

This fee covers all meals, housing, instruction, concerts, coaching, lessons, supervision, laundry and recreation fees. This amount does not include transportation to and from the Walden School.

Payment Plans and Financial Aid

All admitted students, regardless of financial aid application status, are eligible to request an interest-free payment installment plan. Last summer, a large percentage of students received need-based financial aid, with award amounts ranging from 10-90%. The completed financial aid application and current year tax documentation are required to be eligible. Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions regarding tuition and financial aid. The Walden School is committed to making this extraordinary experience affordable and possible for deserving students.

We knew that this experience was going to be good for our son, but we could never have imagined how good.
