• You have packed a semester or two of music education into five short fun-filled (but demanding) weeks.

    – Teacher of a Young Musicians Program student

To the top of Monadnock

The first four weeks of Walden consist of classroom and individual instruction, chorus, Composers Forums, recitals and concerts, and special events provided by guests and Artists-in-Residence. The Walden School strives to maintain a healthy balance between intensive music studies and non-academic recreation. Therefore weekly mountain hikes, swimming at nearby lakes, dances, open mike nights, and intra-school sports are also a regular part of the program.
