In the winter months, Walden typically organizes holiday potlucks in various cities around the country, so Walden alumni, parents, faculty, staff, artists, and friends can get to know their local Walden community. While we could gather in person during the pandemic, online-only gatherings gave us a special opportunity to gather by cohort, rather than by geography!
In January 2021, we launched Walden Winter Wednesdays (WWW), a series of casual online gatherings over Zoom, from January 27-March 10. Each WWW was for a different Walden cohort. Those who were part of multiple cohorts were welcome to join any and all of their WWW gatherings!
In all, more than 160 alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and artists bundled up in their favorite cozy scarves and gathered over Zoom.
