Walden Benefit in Washington, D.C.

The Walden School’s 47th season is just around the corner! To celebrate our outstanding music programs and raise funds to support our participants, Walden is hosting a reception and concert in Washington, D.C, featuring a performance by Eric Huebner, pianist for the NY Philharmonic. Join us for an afternoon of music and friendship with refreshments and wonderful Walden community.

When: Sunday, April 7th 2019 from 3-5pm (Performance to begin at 3:30pm)

About Eric Huebner

Pianist Eric Huebner has drawn worldwide acclaim for his performances of new and traditional music since making his debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at age 17. In January 2012, he was appointed pianist of the New York Philharmonic and currently holds the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Piano Chair. He has been featured in orchestral works by Lindberg, Stravinsky, Ives, Milhaud, Carter and R. Strauss among others and regularly appears in chamber music performances with musicians from the Philharmonic at New York City’s Merkin Hall and elsewhere. He was a member of The Walden School Players and has appeared as a soloist on The Walden School Concert Series.
