A Walden Celebration in SF

Summer is right around the corner, and The Walden School is delighted to celebrate its outstanding programs for youth and adults with its Bay Area Community.

Held at The Swedish American Hall, a San Francisco landmark, the evening will feature refreshments and a performance by violinist and Walden alumnus Nigel Armstrong. He will perform at approximately 6:45 pm.

Gifts for the evening will benefit Walden’s Annual Fund. While there is no charge to attend the event, contributions to support Walden’s award-winning programs may be made online or at the event.

Built in 1907, the Swedish American Hall is the most significant extant building associated with San Francisco’s Swedish community, and has a rich history of hosting live music concerts and public events. Designed by master architect, August Nordin, the building employs a rich palate of materials and the main Freja Hall features highly ornamental finishes and soaring truss work that rank it among the finest expressions of the Arts & Crafts style in California.
