Young Musicians Program
5 weeks: June 29-August 4
3 weeks: June 19-July 21

Kati Agócs will be the Composer-in-Residence. Other guest artists will include Ensemble Dal Niente, The Walden School Players, and the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE).

The summer will be filled with courses in musicianship, choral singing, computer musicianship, and many specialty topics. All students compose one or more pieces of music, premiered at eight Composers Forums. Mountain hikes, swimming in Dublin Lake, concerts, open mics, and sports fill in the summer and build a thriving Walden community.

Creative Musicians Retreat
June 15-23

George Lewis will be the Composer-in-Residence. The Mivos Quartet will be in residence for CMR, along with percussionist Matthew Gold and pianist David Friend.

Participants can focus on composition, choral singing, performance, or pedagogy, and are immersed in a diverse community of artists. Courses, Composers Forums, concerts, and creative dialogue fill an inspiring week of music-making.
