A Walden Celebration and Fundraiser in New York City

Featuring pianist Blair McMillen

Join The Walden School for an afternoon music, community, and refreshments!

This reception and concert will celebrate Walden’s legacy of transforming lives through experiential music education. Contributions to Walden’s Annual Fund will underwrite critical student scholarships and inspiring artist residences at Walden’s 2026 summer programs.

Hailed by the New York Times as “prodigiously accomplished and exciting” and as one of the piano’s “brilliant stars,” pianist Blair McMillen (a past visiting artist at The Walden School) has forged a musical life that is unbounded by convention. For more than two decades, McMillen has divided his time as a piano soloist, chamber musician, music festival director, and educator/teacher.
